My Family has owned a Condo in Florida for over 30 years and have never rented it out. He should also look at multiple Unit Owners who AIRbnb.These are the People taking affordable Units off the Market for Younger People looking to buy.
That would be a good one to look at. I know a lot of the Chinese corporations go thru a cell company and purchased a lot of the multiplex units in LA and SF. Most of us cannot afford it.
There should be a Law that a Foreigner can't own more than X residential Units, if the locals can't afford a place or even find a place to buy where they grew up..
