This is a solid assessment Boonies.
Another angle I Think should get more consideration is that these companies are more valuable to the white hats when in white hat control, rather than shut down.
It's like this…
Imagine chess only every piece you "take" from your opponent, you get the choice to turn into one of your OWN pieces that you now control.
I'm convinced this is exactly what the white hats have done to virtually every Democrat with the (formally black-hat controlled) blackmail.
I agree, that’s why I don’t worry about Palantir or Oracle. If they are working with the current WH administration they can’t work for anyone else.
You act like these people are gonna be in office forever. Every single one of these tools can be used against us in the future. Once another group of people get into office. Blind faith is not advisable.

It’s not blind faith, I don’t ever put my faith in the government, even this one. I’ve come to realize that the digital age is here and that the best way to fight it is to take the bull by the horns and steer it in the least dangerous direction possible. Yeah, it’s going to be ugly and I don’t like it, but we made the damn thing and didn’t consider the consequences of our actions before we unleashed it. Kinda like when we decided to make nuclear bombs, we can’t put the genie back in the bottle.
