As homeschoolers, everything is school. Building a garage, fixing electrical problems, fixing the toilet, installing a bathroom in the new garage, setting up a security system... It breaks my heart when I see homeschoolers not knowing anything but curriculum, which is just public school re-created at home. It's about learning how to learn, not learning everything you can shove into your head. Learn how to learn, and you will never stop learning. Also... that way if I didn't shove enough into their heads, they at least know how to learn to compensate for it!!!
