I think that the funding was a mechanism for the democrats to get a kickback somehow. Why publicly? I think that at this point they have no other way- they have no power, strings have been cut and the only real sway they have at this point is over the extreme leftists who still believe them- possibly to try to manufacture a civil war. I don’t know how that’s going to help them unless the dems think that they can somehow bring in the UN.
