Only answer I can think, desperation. The money has to be going to themselves. And if they are losing and hurting bad, only thing I can conjure up is, they are on financial fumes and out of gas. Otherwise, I just can’t explain that anyone would honestly sign up for this, even if it was literally going to prostitutes and homos. No right minder person would do that.
