I'm beating a dead horse here, but we already have this system and have had it since 1989. Spirit Flyer was about the oncoming launch of the credit rating system in the US because the whole world was aghast at it as it was coming into place - we just didn't have social so we never heard that.

I was in France in 1988 and everyone there thought it was horrible and thought we'd have an uprising over that, but nope, we just played along and 20% of the US can't buy homes no matter how much cash they have in their pockets.
