It is actually pretty easy to get good credit as long as it hasn't been less than 7 years since you filed for personal bankruptcy: Just settle all your debt and then get credit card, use 10 percent of the limit and then pay off all but 1 to 2 percent of it each month. Do that for a year and your credit will be good enough to get a mortgage....If you actually want a mortgage that it ;-).
