From what I know it helps repair our mitochondria. I've taken it, but can't say one way or another how effective it is. I'm quite healthy and just took it because I'm pretty sure it's a good thing. I know that sounds very vague, so here's some more vagueness; good for the brain. Also very pretty color when mixed with water.
