I may be biased as an anime and J-pop weeb, but I think Japan’s PM, their country’s pushback against US financial institutions like Visa, and their people’s increasingly vocal opposition to their culture and clean streets being demolished by foreigners, is all going to make Japan more important to the plan than anyone realizes.
