Maybe not where you are but everyone i know works that week. The Friday after Thanksgiving keeps retail and delivery workers busy too. We are fortunate in my house to have paid holidays off but a lot don't. I don't care if liberals call a blackout on those days but people do still work. Not to mention those involved in transportation police or Healthcare.
