USDA: Over 40M Americans will lose SNAP benefits beginning Nov. 1

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that approximately 42 million Americans will lose their Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits beginning on November 1st due to the government shutdown.

I know of one person that deserves it but does not get it. She is a 63 year old widow that is living off her husband’s social security and also working. She is barely getting by living in a one bedroom apartment but she is making it and paying all her bills on time.
