there is ZERO chance they can win in this scenario with the public opinion swaying against them
If they're not polling at zero, they'll still think they have a chance.

They admit they are holding hostage the "poor" aka ppl getting benefits, some worthy, some not -- for "leverage" to get more funding for their causes, than the continuing resolution of Biden's budget! LOSERS! Even the fed union is against them.
