She was visibly upset this morning and she said she can't trust Trump anymore. What? She said she was watching a Candace Owens video and she says he hasn't done enough to get to the bottom of Charlie Kirk's death. That he didn't push Kash Patel for a deeper investigation. That Trump had some role in it, blah, blah, blah.
I don't watch any of that stuff. I don't watch the news, I don't read newspapers, and I don't watch Candace Owens. I've got nothing against her but she's just too white appropriation for me. Anyway, I told her to calm down the whole thing smells like a replay of Sandy Hook, the Las Vegas Shooting, the Butler assassination attempt. Bad guy, caught, done. Too done, too fast. But not trusting Trump? Honey you need less screen time.
Remind your wife that Trump is having to do a massive balancing act to keep people safe while making massive change.
Many things he isn’t getting done disappoints me… But because of the volume of good taking place, I am inclined to believe he has legitimate reasons he doesn’t pursue everything I’d like to see done.
Some things only will get handled later under J D Vance (or similar upcoming president), and some things will only be handled by God himself.
In the short term. If you want to do good for Charlie, we all need to keep talking about it and be more outspoken Christians.
