She was visibly upset this morning and she said she can't trust Trump anymore. What? She said she was watching a Candace Owens video and she says he hasn't done enough to get to the bottom of Charlie Kirk's death. That he didn't push Kash Patel for a deeper investigation. That Trump had some role in it, blah, blah, blah.
I don't watch any of that stuff. I don't watch the news, I don't read newspapers, and I don't watch Candace Owens. I've got nothing against her but she's just too white appropriation for me. Anyway, I told her to calm down the whole thing smells like a replay of Sandy Hook, the Las Vegas Shooting, the Butler assassination attempt. Bad guy, caught, done. Too done, too fast. But not trusting Trump? Honey you need less screen time.
This is probably the biggest problem we have on this board. Truly.
I don't know why Anons are so proud of being voluntarily ignorant. I see something like this every day here. Someone bragging about how they don't read cnn, or watch Fox or whatever other media outlet might be mentioned.
How can you be part of an elite research board and yet be adamant about not knowing what's going on in the world beyond whatever little curated source of info you've made for yourself?
You don't have to agree with what you see, read, or hear when reading the news. It's not infectious. Having so many people who refuse to read/watch/listen to anything other than things that reinforce opinions they already hold is truly going to be our downfall.
How are you going to understand your enemy or know what they're up to if you refuse to pay attention to what they're doing? How are you going to Redpill normies if you have no clue what you're talking about and are incapable of answering questions they're absolutely going to ask you about things you don't even know is going on in the world because you refuse to look at anything that you don't agree with?
Note that I'm using the common "you" in this post to mean everyone, not just the OP. So please don't feel like I'm talking about you specifically in all this u/CMAnon. I'm truly sorry that you're experiencing some conflict with your wife, but burying your head in the sand and insisting your wife do the same is not going to help the situation.
I hope you're actually discussing these things with her as well, and not just avoiding the issue because it makes you uncomfortable.
"I don't know why Anons are so proud of being voluntarily ignorant."
Actually, it's voluntarily choosing to remain sane. A big distinction. The MSM has morphed into full on propaganda. Oh, I could choose to join Groundnews.com and see how every story from right and from left is covering a topic. Bottom line I don't want to spend my day trying to decide who is spinning, lying, crafting a narrative. I can cut through it quickly...it's all become propaganda. Do I align more with one side than that other...of course. But regardless, it's still the opinions of some unknown editor who decides what is written, what is viewed. For every story in the news there are thousands that aren't covered. So, rather than limit my knowledge to what an editor thinks I should know, I'll run through a few pod casts, I'll look at this site, I'll check to see if there's anything earth shattering that's moving the markets that I should look at. What I absolutely won't do is waste my time watching snippets of parsed narratives interspersed with commercial after commercial.
If something really important happens I'll learn of it thru notifications of one type or another. The rest is background noise for people with nothing else to do with their time. There's being informed and then there's being manipulated. Most of what passes for "news" is the latter today. There was a time I used to watch and read as much as possible and found it harder to sleep. I saw problems with blood pressure and stress headaches. Now, I'm much calmer and more rational. At some point I think the label "ignorant" is better suited for those who don't realize for ever 60 second commercial they sit through is a minute off their life. There's about 10 min. of commercials packaged with every 30 minutes of "news". Add up the time friend. Maybe ask yourself if spending that 10 min. in prayer or meditation might actually do you more good. My guess is the answer is yes.
