Our Government lawyers do not think we have the legal authority to pay SNAP with certain monies we have available, and now two Courts have issued conflicting opinions on what we can and cannot do. I do NOT want Americans to go hungry just because the Radical Democrats refuse to do the right thing and REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT. Therefore, I have instructed our lawyers to ask the Court to clarify how we can legally fund SNAP as soon as possible. It is already delayed enough due to the Democrats keeping the Government closed through the monthly payment date and, even if we get immediate guidance, it will unfortunately be delayed while States get the money out. If we are given the appropriate legal direction by the Court, it will BE MY HONOR to provide the funding, just like I did with Military and Law Enforcement Pay. The Democrats should quit this charade where they hurt people for their own political reasons, and immediately REOPEN THE GOVERNMENT. This is hilarious. I hope he sends this notice out to all of those SNAP Grifters. He’s setting it up to have SNAP recipients turn on the scumbag democrats, and see Trump as their HERO who came through with the $$$. Personally, I wish they would just keep it shut down, but I like how he’s using this to his advantage.
The dems will cry illegal as soon as he finds a way.
Maybe chuck could grill some cheeseburgers for those impacted by a lack of SNAP benefits.

There is nothing illegal about people buying other people's food. They could even write it off as a tax loss.
Whitehouse should--in their personal capacity--and using completely independent contractors and their own money and having NO affiliation with the government--endorse an independent website where people can get crowdfunded alternative SNAP benefit, basically its a prepaid electronic debit card;
They could have this running in in a week
THEN the R's could refuse to open the government until 61 days after which Trump permanently cuts government positions
They want to play this game of chicken

It could work like this: you need an SSN number and a SNAP benefits number
That's it. They use the SSN to authenticate you, and nothing more. Then you get bluechecked and you're good to go.
SSN number can't be among a list of banned SSN numbers that they give to illegals
Good, even though there are grifters, there are disabled, and elderly and people that actually are struggling that depend on those benefits.
I called because I feel bad for the ones who legitimately rely on assistance. I wish the people who take advantage of the programs would be forced out however.
