Trump is Isolating Zelenski.
Donald Trump and Viktor Orban have met at the White House in Washington and the two leaders have answered questions during a press conference. Donald Trump has expressed his full support for the Hungarian Prime Minister, while Viktor Orban has stated that the US has offered Hungary an exemption from the US sanctions on Russia. This means that Hungary can still purchase Russian oil via the Druzhba oil pipeline and via the Turkstream. Zelensky has then stated that he won’t allow Russia to sell oil to Hungary as this contributes to Russia’s war effort. The EU fears that even if Belgium’s concerns are addressed, the process of giving the “reparations loan” to Ukraine will drag on. They also say that Kiev will run out of money in April of 2026.
How exactly is Zelensky not going to “allow” Russia to sell oil to Hungary?

The pipeline goes through Southern Ukraine. I guess Russia will just have to secure the corridor.
