I am sorry you had/have to deal with that situation.
I think in some instances parents dont want to believe because it brings guilt upon them or they failed.

Lord I lift up u/suckafree and all others who have had to endure the abuse and the denials of the evil and that you would help them heal and move on and become stronger over the issue, in Jesus name
