Henry is correct. IMO it all depends on the person, you can't force an Ah hah moment on anyone, they have to "see it" for themselves and have that Ah hah all on their own. I am sure you had your Ah hah moment of realization that was something personal to you, that made you pause and think about it all before, taking the time to actually listen and inform yourself on specific issues as a path leading you away from the current mindset of "the left" as it currently is. A good Meme that does not even need more than a word or two that shows the hypocrisy of a chosen stance or "current attempted talking point" works well and often better than a long winded explanation. For RL friends and family, face to face conversations would suggest sticking to topics that you already know they care about personally because, it is actually something that affects them (as apposed to be caught up in current thing that they are told they are suppose to be caring about ad a faceless collective.) and never force it, keep it light and be willing to change the subject if they start getting aggressive on the matter or, drop it altogether so you all can have a pleasant rest of your day.
