Its a bit of a story (100% true), so bear with me.

My family is building an in-law suite for my parents, they're old and we're caring for them to the end.
We wanna be done before new year and are really close, been doing a lot of the work ourselves and we have all the material, but i hurt my arm recently and can't finish the drywall in reasonable time.
My contractor recommended a known quality drywaller and he was over today. He said he could do it, but it'll take 2.5 weeks (!?!), as 50% of his crew quit. 🤔 I asked why was that, he said that ICE has been operating in the area and they took off.... 🤦♂️
Needless to say they wont be doing the drywall. 🙄
Just wanted to share my tale of woe, and show how this invasion continues to hurt us all, young and old, even in the rural areas.

my sheetrock guys were always Mexican. Now I have a white American, althogh slower they do a good job. I say have faith.
Ya need some people who know what they are doing AND who take pride in doing a fine job of it, do your parents proud!
