Lindsey Graham blocks House-passed bill to repeal shutdown deal provision allowing $500,000 lawsuits from senators
Sen. Lindsey Graham blocked a Democrat-led effort to approve a House-passed measure to repeal a controversial provision that allows senators to sue for $500,000 if federal investigators search their phone records without their knowledge.
Nice try Dems. You do it all this time and now you dont want it done to you? 🤣
Boomerang Boys
How would they know if it's "without their knowledge "
maybe i am wrong in thinking so but i am pretty sure legitimate fisa requests care not about such lawsuits in the first place
That's a bingo
bingo-bango!!!!! THE DEMS just dropped their tighty whities!!!!!
FISA goes both ways
I'm reading this the opposite way. Lindsay stopped the Dems trying to block the Senators from suing for 500k. Lindsay wants to keep the 500k option. Am I misreading this? There's a one-person veto and that was LindsayG.
Yeah, my head hurt trying to figure out what they are saying.
MTG just resigned and Lindsey Graham did this. I think we must be living in those interesting times someone once mentioned.
I thought Lindsey was one of the Republicans that presented this bill! I know I read that on here somewhere.
