So the theory here is that Massie is used as an avatar for action, while Trump can remain diplomatically insulated. Trump does not need to explain Massie. All while Massie has just achieved something in plain sight, something that perhaps Trump cannot do. Maybe Trump needs to maintain plausible alliance with parties and people, but nevertheless action must be stimulated by someone. And here it has been Massie.
Next up? Well, if this is the play, then expect MTG to be dropping some bombs while Trump remains once again diplomatically immunised.

I am also saying that "patriots in control" is being revealed not at all how we were expecting. It is beginning now, where patriots, real workers, they are going to kick up the fuss, and the administration will respond to them. The ideas will not come from the political classes, but from outside, from patriots who are rejected. But the administration will respond to them, because they are popular, understood to be patriots, and in responding, the administration shows that it is the patriot in control and not them.

I fully agree and have felt this way the whole time.
If Trump says he's going to give every Democrat $1,000, they'll start burning money.
This stuff has to come from someone they'll listen to, which cannot be visibly in the trump camp.
He has just set up MTG in my opinion to shine a very bright light on AIPAC, I’m not buying the infighting for one minute.
