The pastor of my church said we can request to be able to concealed carry in the church, but there's a very good chance it would be denied (unless they were law enforcement?). Well, that's the thing, I wouldn't request, I would just conceal carry. It's your life and that of your family/friends, no one really has the right to tell you, you cannot defend it. Of course, you can honor that request too, it's what you feel comfortable with.
