Yeah my eyes were opened to what they have been up to Russia when I saw a doco that showed they were inolved in taking out Rasputin via their spy services because he saw the trouble on the home front and wanted the Tzar to walk away from WW1. Brits could not allow that, the Gemran troops released would have probably swung the war so they acted to get him taken out.

Makes me wonder whether the portrayal of Rasputin in the West is anywhere near accurate. Our version is a mad bastard, drunk on power, booze, mad rooter of women etc etc.
