One day he is nobody. Next day a bunch of nobody geriatric clowns in red dresses elect him pope. He takes possession of the magical white beanie and all of a sudden politicians and celebs are lined up to fawn over him.

Does anyone else find that creepy and insane?

You can have a personal relationship with Jesus, thru the Sacraments he established & passed down to his Apostles.

Jesus established ONE Holy & Apostolic Church. That church gave the world the Bible. Reconcile yourself to the truth & accept it.
