He probably wasn't in offc long enough to catch the 2024 tax season which was under Biden's control. I think Trump was holding off on some of this stuff to see how his experience with the SC was going to go. Since it's looking pretty good, i would expect to see more of these belt tightening measures on the free money. Soc Security benefits for illegals the next target?
