Sane people are finally waking up to the evil Israeli gov't.
BTW, that star they like to call the "Star of David" is actually Star of Remphan. Nowhere in the Bible is the star of David but there are several references to the Star of Remphan. See Acts 7:43. https://www.bibleref.com/Acts/7/Acts-7-43.html
You took up the tent of Moloch and the star of your god Remphan, the images that you made to worship; and I will send you into exile beyond Babylon.
Moloch is depicted in the picture and the jews sacrifice kids to it. Some say they still do it. The depth of knowledge most Christians have on jews is limited to the movie The 10 Commandments. Most of them think the jews turned from their wicked ways after Charlton Heston threw the 10 Commandments at the golden calf. Nope...they never stopped.
Brother, I am darn sure not talking about you. You are here a GAW and wide awake. I'm talking about the vast majority of FoxNews-watching, narrative-following, RNC-donating, conservative christians (both C's intentionally lowercase because they conserve nothing and they are in the church social-club).
The Jews went back and forth, sometimes having turned their hearts to God, as in the days of Joshua and Elijah (which is why, when Elijah set up the challenge to the prophets of Ba'al , he mentioned as a sign of the people's turning their hearts back to God, the fire from heaven, see 1 Kings 18: 36 - 46, where Elijah associates the miracle of the consumed sacrifice with the turned hearts of the people, but that didn't change the fact of Jezebel and Ahab's rule right away.
There is, however, the star out of Jacob prophesied by Balaam: See Numbers 24: 17
"I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel".
Malachi 4:2 References the Sun of Righteousness rising with healing in His wings:
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
As do both Peter and John:
2nd Peter 1:19
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the Day Star arise in your hearts: (Reference to Jesus as the Daystar!)
Revelation 22:16
"I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star".
I agree, as well. However, there is some nuance here when you look at Romans 9 - 11. (and to some degree Romans 2-3) . There are advantages for the Jewish person, as Paul puts it , they are loved for the Patriarchs' sake, and because of this we are not to boast against them: (Read all of Romans 11 to get the full picture, I'm simply citing the most relevant passages here: Romans 11: 16 - 21
For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;Boast not against the [natural] branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. (the root in this reference is the Patriarchs, see context)
Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Here Paul argues from lesser to greater, for the salvation of the Jewish people:
For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
The fascinating part for me was that there is both good and evil in Israel, and the government (and often in combination with the religious leadership of the day - that Rabbi was a big wake - up call - definitely was calling evil good! ) was more often than not the problem! The late Hal Lindsey would have concurred with all of this. This is the more balanced approach I'd been waiting to hear. From sites run by Jewish believers in Jesus we see some light on the Palestinian situation as well, as they are making peace with their Palestinian brothers and sisters in Christ. The primary objections to Jesus in Israel come from the Ultra Orthodox and the Orthodox who are steeped in the Talmud, and the Reform, who ordain women as rabbis.

Oh. I know they continued. They are the den of Satan.

Amen. Church social club, what a name.

AGREED with some, then sorta DISAGREED with a lot. Do your own research!
God's chosen people, Christians. That's the one I agree on.
Me Too.

The root is Jesus, but the trunk is ancient Israel because without them, no Christ and no Christians.
Are we to boast, of course not. We are but sinners who need Christ. Nobody with any IQ can boast.

This is a very good way to look at it.
