For sure russia sacrificed more people than any other nation on ww2.

When you say “sacrificed” you’re more right than you may know. The incidence of “friendly fire” against those trying to flee getting mowed down by German machine guns was alarming to say the least. Sovietism was not good. Putin is de-communizing Russia as best he can, yet some still long for the glory days of the “worker’s paradise”.
