We can afford to give our elderly free long term care to preserve generational wealth and eliminate the end of life shit show that is happening now.

Yes, it shouldn't cost 8-10k a month to care for elderly in nursing homes. Most middle class families cannot afford that. Medicaid can help but they take all assets if you opt for that.
