expressVPN sucks so hard. It would have great speeds for 5 minutes and then ... no sites would load, forcing me to switch servers. After a while I realized their system sucks and probably had something that was inhibiting just me, because it can't be this shitty for everyone, they'd go out of business.
So then I wrote a python script that randomized the servers and refreshed every 4 min and 50 seconds and it was usable
Then Proton VPN came out, and it can maintain a fast connection for HOURS without having this problem.
I love it, but it could be better. Like, for one, the linux client is always behind the windows client in terms of features...and thats like punishing linux users, which is a crime against God himself. Because God uses linux. It is the chosen system. How do I know? Because linux subjugates daemons to run stuff. Secondly, I'd like to know which are the fastest servers, not just in usa but among a group near me. Right now it chooses the fastest by default but it could be in CA if Im using starlink that defaults to atlanta. That is bad. But the speed is still decent.
I dont work for proton or starlink. Im a regular user. Proton VPN is THE BEST VPN I have ever used and I've tried them all. Nord is ok.\
Express VPN is by far the one with the best marketing
In reality, its terrible and you should run the F away from it immediately
I used ExpressVPN several years ago; wasn't impressed. Used Nord, use PIA now. When it's time to pay again, I want to go to Proton.
"Because linux subjugates daemons to run stuff." THAT is hilarious! I've used Ubuntu Linux since mid-2020. I like a lot of it, some of it kinda sucks but it still beats microsoft by a mile.
