They are relying on the studies that show this will benefit all students although there are no such studies. The decision is based on feelings. My feeling is that kids will only get dumber so they are not as smart as the boneheads who think this is a good idea.

Maybe that's the reason. It is impossible to control a population of people who can think for themselves.
