A Russian strike could collapse the internal radiation shelter at the defunct Chernobyl nuclear power station in Ukraine, the plant's director has warned.

Plus wouldn't the prevailing winds carry any fallout into Russia? There's no upside to shelling the facility - it has no strategic value - and plenty of downside.

And it makes me wonder, after all these years, why the media is bringing this possibility up now? There's nothing to make this a more or less vulnerable nor strategic target today than there was several years ago. If they didn't attack it before, what possible reason could they have for attacking it now?

Literally 0 reason for Russia to do that. Ukraine went and dropped a grenade on top, then blamed Russia. Its pathetic!
