So it reads like they have to get insurance but what she says makes me think she can shop it. As long as the residents of Illinois aren’t required to buy the state’s plan, then there is a chance for competitive pricing. I hope that’s true. When I first got out of college I went without insurance. My Mom hated that but I couldn’t afford it and I figured I was healthy and I could do without. They dangle the possibility of something major happening that would bankrupt you and that’s why we feel we must get the insurance. You can see how they’ve all worked together to take our money. Medical, pharmaceutical and insurance are outrageously priced. Then they instill fear if you don’t see the doctor regularly, follow his instructions and take the medications he’s being paid to prescribe and if you do have to go to the hospital it’s at least $10,000 a night, let alone $20,000+++ for tests, X-rays….
I went w/o insurance for long time because apparently, I know enough about natural meds I don't need them. My parents hated that also especially I was a climber and backpacker and all that.
Dental now, I bought the most expensive thing because of genetic. Now I just pay out of pockets because I have taken care of the most important problems and know how to maintain.
I was forced by Obummer Care. I am going without again next year.
You can probably fly to like Thailand or someplace like that with an actual market for medical services and have all your work done. The whole trip will be cheaper than doing it locally
Hey I read that in the 1900s dentists prescribed copper tongue scrapers to remove bacteria from mouths AND they found people had fewer cavities so of course they switched to stainless steel to save their business. I personally never heard of them. Anyway I just bought one and we’ll see if it provides better oral health!

I haven't had health insurance for over 10 years now, going on 11 years in a few months.
