I got notice from SS that my check and my wife's check will increase next year BUT my Medicare, my supplement and my drug card will have an increase also. What this means is our combined income drops by $300 a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot tell you how incensed I am at this. We now pay over $1000 a month for our Medicare and supplement w/ drug card. I almost puked! Looks like no more Dom Pérignon for us!!!

If you make any money on the side your Medicare goes up like 25%. They are never going to let us get ahead.
