I’ve got silver but I am a newbie to all of this. Who buys paper silver anyway? How does selling tons of it bring the cost of real silver down, Just fooling people into believing there’s a lot more than there actually is? Since I’ve got a good bit of silver I’m just trying to understand all of the craziness that is going on with it lol. Thanks
They sell paper silver on the futures market,to maybe deliver actual silver in the future. Right now we are in backwardation people are paying more today on the futures market to get silver today, usually it's the other way around.
