A while ago there were a boatload of pallets going through milsurp auctions dirt cheap. They were selling in semi truck size lots for like $300/pallet https://www.gsaauctions.gov/auctions/auctions-list?page=1&size=50&searchType=ALL_WORDS&searchText=MRE&status=active&sort=auctionEndDateSoon,DESC&advanced=false now resellers have them pretty cheap still especially compared to historical prices.
