If we continue to pay taxes we are funding and supporting the corruption. In effect, we are paying for our own destruction.
The problem is that unless we all stop at the same time, they will pick off / pick up the few who start, further insuring the majority stays silent.
If we seriously wanted to stop the fraud we would organize across the states and stop paying federal income tax. That is, submit W4 forms to become exempt, which stops the employer from withholding, and then never volunteer to do so again. If 100 million did it, they could not be stopped.
Not filing a tax return is not the answer because they already have your money at that point, an you are just hoping they will be willing to give you a small amount of what was stolen back to you.
