Can someone explain why Trump is so focused on Venezuela specifically?

There are so many bad guys running other countries and I know Maduro is a very bad guy but just wondering why is Venezuela such a target for Trump? Is it a main center of operation for the deep state? Is it the first domino that needs to fall before taking down deep state?
