I grew up with him. When he was 13 he would cary a dictionary to football practice. He would just study that thing. When he moved to Wyoming I tried to convince my parents to let me move with him. His stories about that football team are real and he understates things. One of these days I should go see him. He was a great kid. and BTW he went by Jay back then.
