Common sense says if there is trouble then turn and go the other way.
If she actually loved her partner, she would have gotten her the hell out of there long before this happened. Sad.
And if you are responsible for the well being of a child and you choose to be present at this sort of situation then that says a lot about your priorities. Also sad.
