I'm not a liberal you dumb boomer, I have no debt, hate inflation as much as anybody, understand that you can't borrow your way out of debt - but I realize that you folks got life handed to you and you ruined it for the younger generations
Boomer here. I was in college in 1980. High inflation. Economic mess with zero jobs. Remember stagflation? Jimmy Carter? I lived it. Graduated with massive hiring and wage freeze. You literally could not find a job at a convenience store. I know because I tried. Husband's employer went bankrupt. New job found and they ceased operations in our state. Repeat several times. We moved in with parents and then lived in a repo old mobile home. My car was a $1000 piece of trash. We had no insurance but did not even try to get Medicaid, WIC or food stamps. I had teenage students laugh at me because I drove a really old car with purple window tint. I did not ruin anything for you. Would you please rethink your anger toward me?
clearly you're a woman because you can't figure out the difference between a generalized statement and a specific example. Yes you did it right. Congrats. That doesn't change the fact that the boomers then proceeded to fuck it up for the young kids.
