The Insurrection Act would require the US military (Marines?) to occupy the cities that were denied National Guard troops by the Supreme Court.
I have been watching for news of military deployments to those areas, but have not read about anything so far. Maybe they can deploy what they need fairly quickly, without a long lead time.
