Agree there. When senators were appointed not elected, they could be REMOVED the same way. We gave up our state leverage over them to ensure they voted how the state wanted, by either the legislature voting to remove them or the governor just removing them. There's an issue with corruption either way, so I'm on board with having a method of removing them without letting them SCREW US for 6 years before we can even try to vote them out. From what I recall of US History, reps are different because they are up for re election every 2 years, so they can't cause the same amount of damage. I would like a strick but doable method to remove either if necessary.
Edit: I believe the return states rights portion is to do that very thing as well.
