But after I saw how a blue (laser) beam does not affect a blue shop rag, but it burns all the other color shop rags, I've come to believe that "project blue beam" being about holograms etc. was just a carefully crafted disinformation campaign.
All the "leakers" etc. That's how I would do it if I was in charge of a program like that.
a sort of limited hang out to get ahead of any leaks from the projects development.
IMO the 40,000 foot view is that blue beam is a pyrotechnic weapon.

Yeah, the blue laser lighting $hit on fire is pretty awesome! Showed my physics students that and it blew their minds.
