UPS to cut another 30,000 jobs in sweeping cost-savings push

United Parcel Service Inc. expects to cut as many as 30,000 positions this year, part of an ongoing effort by the package-delivery giant to rein in costs and boost profitability.

I commented about this I another thread. Delivery drivers for UPS and other businesses are contacting drivers under 1099 IRS status. Hardly any driver can read in English and most now don't even speak any English at all. Most now present a State ID card that looks the same as a drivers license but it will indicate subtly that it is only a State ID card. ICE should look into the potential of illegals using this as another way to "stay low" and collect income.
