The Department of Homeland Security has purchased a massive $70 million building in the Phoenix, Arizona area to house illegal aliens awaiting deportation. This comes as the department plans to “draw down on the number of people” from ICE and CB...
The 418,000-square-foot shipping warehouse in Surprise is roughly the same size as seven football fields, 12 News reports.
The city said in a statement, “While we do not participate in ICE operations, we also cannot interrupt or prevent their operations.”
State Senator. Analise Ortiz described the purchase as “abhorrent” and accused ICE of unconstitutional actions following the real estate deal.
“It really should chill all of us because ICE is violating the US Constitution, which means none of us are safe, including United States citizens,” she said.
Did anyone ask her which part of the US Constitution ICE was violating?
That is always the first question that pops into my mind too. Really? Which part, exactly? And which fed laws are they violating? Exactly?
Amazing how I never get an answer.
That's when they attack you.
I wouldn't be surprised. They tend to spit out crap and have no facts to back it.
I guess the WH aren't worried about the Arizona government being a problem in the near future.
Or now.
Warehexico City
I bet she has never read the US Constitution
It's not big enough.
They overbuilt these here. There are plenty more available.
I've been in a warehouse in Phoenix in July. I didn't hang about. You really don't want to be in Phoenix in July without aircon. They'll be pleading to get deported if they are still there by summer.
.
Meh, on second thoughts, they are probably used to the heat where they come from. :(
These save the environment folks should just overtake the Amazon warehouses. No rounding them up. They're already there.
I have a really stupid question. If all these illegal migrants crossed into the United States through our Southern Border -- why are we spending spending money to fly them back to their country of origin?
I will freely admit that I do not like spending money unless I have something to show for it. I don't see how flying these people back home is good for our bottom line. Why not just bring them to the border and usher them out the way they came in? Then let them find their own way back home. Seems to me if they got here -- they know how to find their way back home
