Earlier this week, the Washington Post, owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, cut hundreds of jobs and said the cuts were part of a “painful” restructuring.
Will Lewis resigned on Saturday evening.
“After two years of transformation at The Washington Post, now is the right time for me to step aside,” Will Lewis wrote in an email to staff.
