Nothing new. Look at vaxx injuries.

Also opiates...

Patient has legitimate and terrible pain.
Prescribe opioids.
Patient takes as directed.
Patient gets hooked, comes back for a monthly refill, 5 days early.
Doc decides it's time for you to quit, cuts you off cold turkey.
Go into severe withdrawal.
Go to hospital, they accuse you of drug seeking behavior.
Docs treat you like a filthy degenerate, kick you out.
Find drugs on street.
Life over.
