We have discussed alternative medications in the past. My wife who is 58 has been trying to not be placed on statin drugs for high cholestorol. Her physician is now scaring her as her levels are over double what he wants them to be. Some of what I have read personally state that cholestorol is needed to ward off alzeheimers. One of her great aunts had alzeheimers and we suspected her sister my wifes grandmother as being undiagnosed. My wife is resonably inclined to stay away for statin drugs but we are also equally scared of her numbers.

All I can tell you is, both of my parents were on statins. Both of them got dementia. Did one cause the other? I don't know. Will I ever take statins? Hell, no!
You can reverse their dementia by getting them off statins, chaing their diet completely to Keto Carnivore and eating 5 eggs a day. Our cells regenerate no matter what age, we can reverse it and self-heal w/ the right nutritions. That's how great God made us and man lied to us to keep us down and dependent on the evil system.
Unfortunately, it is too late for my parents. They passed away years ago.
