Me too. I've had lefty friends, or former friends, say we can't hang out just because we have different views. I really can't believe people are that dumb and so I refuse to hold grudges on people just because we don't see eye to eye on really complicated issues that are subject to informational wars and on an ever changing terrain.
My leftish best friend actually came back and apologize for dissing me. Did a soul search and came back. We forgive and move on. We don't talk politics.
I stop looking at right/left on a person any more. I now judge the person by what he/she does. You look at voting records.
