"It's not a fake passport but a real Austrian passport of Marius Fortelni that expired in 1987. Fortelni lives in NY and worked in his own real estate company there. Likely he and Epstein knew each other in NY and Epstein got Fortelnis expired passport where he then just exchanged the photo. That passport with the fake photo was pretty useless to cross any borders and Epstein would have been very stupid to try this due to high risk. However, you need an ID in Europe for signing contracts at a notary office. You can purchase a house or real estate in Europe with an expired Austrian passport. You can open bank accounts in Europe with an expired Austrian passport. You can purchase participations in or even found new companies in Europe with such a passport. And you can stay in European hotels anonymously with the name "Fortelni"."
